Storyline
Mi Yue's (Sun Li) life revolves around three men in a complicated way. Her first love, Huang Xie (Huang Xuan), whom she is separated from on her way to the state of Qin.
Qin's King Ying Si (Alex Fong) favours Mi Yue alone way more than the Queen Mi Shu (Liu Tao) and other concubines. Mi Shu is Mi Yue's half-sister.
Zhai Li (Gao Yunxiang) King of Yiqu who stands by Mi Yue's side when she is being banished to state of Yan.
Mi Shu hates Mi Yue to the core. She plots evil schemes against her even to the point where Mi Yue child's life is in danger.
Based on her brilliance, Mi Yue conquers everything and becomes the first Empress Dowager in China's history.
My View
Would love to see more Liu Tao's villian roles as she is rather good at it.
Though LOMY is not as per my high expectation (due to most of the casts from Empresses in the Palace), this drama is still worth a watch.
